Many of our shots of tea plantations were taken from the train, thus some blurry foregrounds. We toured a tea factory but were not allowed to take pictures inside. The process of making tea is "way" more complex than one would image.
90% of the tea pluckers are Tamils and they are paid very little - about $6 Cdn for plucking 18 kilos per day.
