Every year Maggie and I go on a wilderness canoe trip to Georgian Bay, however this year we decided to try the French River. Actually we were successful bidders at a DAREarts fundraiser for a night at The Lodge at Pine Cove on the French River so decided to combine that with our canoe trip. Turns out it was a very civilized way of ending a canoe trip, especially since we had rain every day and were pretty wet.
