Caribbean - Feb 2017
This was our first cruise with Windstar small ship cruises. Our ship the Star Legend, had only 200 passengers. The rooms were about 50% bigger than any other cruise ship we have been on. Highly recommended.
We start in Barbados, staying a few days with our good friends and neighbours, Francie & Gord. Their new Barbados home is delightful.
The cruise stopped at Bequia (part of St. Vincent & the Grenadines), St Lucia (where we had our honeymoon 42 years ago), Isles Les Saintes (part of Guadeloupe), Montserrat, St. Bart's, and finally San Juan Puerto Rico where we stayed a couple of extra nights before flying home.
The Star Legend had been in the Caribbean for the last 2 months and the captain said we had the best weather week so far. Lots of warm sun (but not too hot), lots of colour, and lots of great food and drink.
